AS A CARICATURIST, I am drawn (sorry!) to all sorts of faces but some have a long lasting haunting quality which make them more compelling than others. I was talking to a couple of friends about Vincent Damon Furnier only the other day which made me realise that, though I’ve long been a fan of his music as performed by his alter-ego Alice Cooper, I have never attempted to draw him.
Well, just putting that little omission right here, as you can see. A caricaturist’s dream, perhaps. Or should that be nightmare?
I particularly like his performance of The Ballad of Dwight Fry.
