Cartoon for Philosophy Now of Sisyphus

Cartoon for Philosophy Now Magazine

I DREW THIS cartoon for Philosophy Now Magazine of the mythical character Sisyphus for their June/July issue.

They just send me the text to the article and ask me to submit a few ideas for approval. In this case, the first cartoon idea I sent was approved straight away.

Sisyphus is a character in Homer’s Iliad and in Greek mythology generally. We are told that he founded the Isthmian Games and receives eternal punishment for trying to cheat Death. His punishment is to have to roll a huge boulder up a mountain only to have it roll down again and to have to push it all the way up again.

I can take almost any subject matter and draw cartoon illustrations for it. This includes work for magazines, newspapers, books and websites.
